If you ask me why I live in Barcelona… this is why.
Five years ago, I came from Switzerland to study a master’s degree — and I never left.

Everything pulled me in: the food, the people, the sea, but above all, the vibe.
It’s a vibrant city, surrounded by nature, perfect for someone like me who needs to move and feel connected to the outside world.

The sea became part of my routine. And that’s when everything changed.
A friend from the surf scene created a women’s community to give visibility to sports that have always been seen as “masculine.” I was already deeply connected to the nautical world… so I joined.

Through “Les noies del medi”, we started organizing surf trips, classes, events. And suddenly, I was traveling to Portugal, France, Morocco… connecting with an incredible surfing community.

Today, we are more than 700 women.
700 stories, 700 energies… an amazing vibe.

And when I’m not in the water, I’m on the asphalt.
Surfskate. Surfing on concrete. Barcelona has that energy. It has always embraced cultures that once lived on the margins and made them part of the city.

That’s why, for me, Barcelona is not just where I live. It’s where I move. Where I connect.
